Adult Classes
(For students 18 years old and older)
Adult 1 Class
(Beginner class for students 18 years old and older) IN-PERSON CLASS ON FRIDAY
This class is for students who have little or no pre-knowledge of Japanese. Instruction includes writing and reading Hiragana and Katakana.
Adult 2 Class
(Students who have successfully completed 70 classes=150h or equivalent) ON-LINE CLASS ON THURSDAY
Basic sentence patterns and grammar as well as rules for the use of vocabulary are taught to enable students to understand and carry out basic communications with Japanese people.
Adult 3 Class
(Students who have successfully completed 140 classes= 300h or equivalent) ON-LINE CLASS ON THURSDAY
Students review material covered in the Adult1 & Adult2 classes and learn comprehensive and practical Japanese. Students will further their knowledge of various areas of Japanese culture including the custom, history, and current events.
Survival Japanese for Beginners
(For students 18 years old and older) IN-PERSON CLASS ON FRIDAY
※ 10 classes for each term
Students learn useful phrases for various situations in daily life.
Term-1 (9/13/2024-11/15/2024)
Topic: transportation, Asking for direction, Shopping, At restaurant, etc.
Term-2 (12/6/2024-3/7/2025)
Topic: Hobby, Asking “How to~”, At Café, At the airport, Invitation, etc.
Term-3 (4/4/2025-6/6/2025)
Topic: Talking about plan, activities, taste, and experience. Invited to Japanese family house.
※ Each term starts with Greeting, self-introduction basic numbers and time expression.
